Insights: AI-Generated Patterns Across Your Reviews
Written By Chad McGuire (Sparrow Intel)
Overview
You can read one review at a time and reply to it. You can run rules that act on every review automatically. What you can't easily do, by hand, is read all of your reviews from the last 90 days and find the patterns.
Insights is the page where Chirp AI does that for you.
What Insights is
Open Insights (or click Insights in the left navigation). You'll see:
A date range picker (default 14 days)
A grid of prompt cards β each card is a question Chirp AI can answer about your review corpus in that date range
A quota indicator on free plans
Click any card and Chirp generates a fresh analysis: a written summary, the supporting opinions, the patterns it found, organized as a small report.
These aren't pre-computed dashboards. Each analysis runs on demand, against the current data, with the current filters.
What you can ask
Insights gives you a set of one-click analyses, each run by Chirp AI against the date range you choose at the top right. Pick a window, hit Generate on any card, and Chirp AI reads your reviews for that period and returns findings with recommended actions. The available cards include:
Low Ratings in Guest Experience β aspects that consistently score low, with steps to fix them
Top Cleaning and Maintenance Issues β your most common operational issues and proactive measures
Positive & Negative Review Analysis β the recurring topics driving praise and complaints
Guest Expectations vs. Reality β where the stay diverges from what guests were promised
Value for Money, Unique Selling Points, Location and Surroundings, Amenities Satisfaction, and Property Condition and Aesthetics β targeted reads on the dimensions guests comment on most
Each runs on demand, so you can re-run the same analysis across different date ranges to see how themes shift over time.
How to read an Insight
A typical Insight comes back as:
A short narrative summary at the top
Specific quoted opinions (with property and rating context) that support the summary
Patterns Chirp noticed β recurring phrases, repeated complaints, surprising shifts
Treat it as a memo from a careful analyst, not as a dashboard widget. The value isn't the number; it's the pattern and the supporting evidence.
Turning Insights into action
An Insight that just makes you smarter is half the value. The other half is the change it drives:
A cadence that works
For most operations:
Weekly β run "Positive/Negative Review Analysis" and skim it
Monthly β run "Cleaning trends" and "Maintenance trends"; share the supporting evidence with ops
Quarterly β run "Sentiment drift by property" and use it to plan property-level interventions
Avoid the temptation to run every card every week. Insights are most valuable when they drive a change. Running them on a cadence you'll actually act on beats running them constantly.
Insights vs. the Reviews inbox
These are complementary, not redundant:
