Exporting Reviews as a Spreadsheet

Written By Chad McGuire (Sparrow Intel)

You can now download your reviews as a spreadsheet directly from the Reviews Inbox. This makes it easy to analyze, share, or report on exactly the set of reviews you care about using the same filters you already use in Sparrow Intel.

What this feature does

The export feature allows you to:

  • Filter reviews in the Reviews Inbox

  • Download only the filtered results

  • Export reviews as a spreadsheet file you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools

How to export reviews

Step 1: Go to the Reviews Inbox

Navigate to Reviews from the main navigation. This is the same inbox where you normally view and manage guest reviews.

Step 2: Apply any filters

Use the inbox filters to narrow down the reviews you want to export. For example, you can filter by:

  • Date range

  • Rating

  • Sentiment

  • …and more (all review inbox filters supported)

You can combine multiple filters. The export will always match the current filtered view.

Step 3: Click the Export button

Once your filters are set, click the Export icon in the Reviews Inbox toolbar.

Sparrow Intel will generate a spreadsheet containing all reviews that match your filters and download it to your device.

What’s included in the export

Each review is exported as a single row in the spreadsheet. The export includes the most commonly requested review fields.

Need more data or automation?

The spreadsheet export is designed for quick analysis and sharing. If you need even more detail, custom integrations, or automated data access, you can also use our public API to retrieve review data programmatically and build your own workflows on top of it.

Tips for best results

  • Use filters first. The export always reflects your current inbox view.

  • Large exports may take a few moments to generate.

  • If you need different data sets, adjust filters and export again rather than editing the spreadsheet manually.

Common use cases

  • Performing custom analysis in Excel or Google Sheets

  • Creating internal reports using your own tooling

If you have feedback on additional fields you would like included in future exports, let us know. This feature will continue to evolve based on customer requests.
