Using Multiple Brands in Feedback Requests

Written By Chad McGuire (Sparrow Intel)

If you operate more than one brand β€” separate company names, logos, and color schemes under one Sparrow Intel account β€” you can now white-label each feedback request with the right brand.

The guest sees that brand's name, logo, and color on the survey page and in the feedback request email, with no hint of your other brands.

If you run a single brand, nothing changes for you: every feedback request keeps using the logo and color from your Brand Settings, exactly as described in How to Customize Your Feedback Requests.

Your default brand and additional brands

Your existing Brand Settings β€” the logo and brand color at the top of the page, together with your company name β€” are your default brand. Every feedback request uses it unless you choose otherwise.

Additional brands are named brands you create alongside it. Each one has its own:

  • Brand Name β€” shown to guests as your company name on surveys and emails that use this brand
  • Brand Color β€” the accent color on the survey page and email
  • Logo

Creating a brand

  1. Click on your account icon, then click Brand Settings.
  2. Scroll to the Additional Brands card and click Add Brand.
  3. Enter the Brand Name. This is what guests see as the company name, so use the name your guests booked with, not an internal nickname.
  4. Pick the brand color.
  5. Add the logo β€” upload an image (up to 5 MB) or switch to the URL option and paste a link to a hosted image.
  6. Click Save.

The brand appears in the Additional Brands list, and you can add as many as you need. Use the pencil icon to edit a brand later.

Choosing a brand on a feedback request

Once you've created at least one additional brand, a Brand dropdown appears when you create or edit a feedback request β€” both kinds:

  • Rule-driven feedback requests β€” every request the rule sends carries the selected brand.
  • Static links β€” the link renders the selected brand for every guest who opens it.

The dropdown defaults to Default Brand. Leave it there and the request behaves exactly as it always has.

A typical setup is one feedback request rule per brand: filter each rule to the property group for that brand's properties, and pick the matching brand on each. See Create a Property Group for grouping properties.

What the guest sees

A branded feedback request uses the brand everywhere the guest looks:

  • The feedback request email arrives with the brand's logo, color, and name.
  • The survey page is themed with the brand's color and logo.
  • The brand name appears as the company name β€” your default company name is not shown anywhere.

Editing and deleting brands

Brands are applied at the moment a survey page loads or an email is sent, so changes take effect everywhere immediately:

  • Editing a brand β€” a new logo or color applies to all feedback requests using that brand, including static links you printed or shared long ago. There is no need to recreate anything.
  • Deleting a brand β€” any feedback requests using it revert to your default brand. Nothing stops working; the surveys and emails simply fall back to your default logo, color, and company name. Because of this, the delete confirmation asks you to type the brand name before it proceeds.
