Email Tasks to Asana

Written By Chad McGuire (Sparrow Intel)

If you use Asana for task management, you can automatically send tasks to Asana using Asana’s Email Tasks feature. This is useful for routing cleaning, maintenance, or other operational issues identified by Chirp AI directly into your Asana workspace.

To set this up:

  1. In Sparrow Intel, navigate to the Rules tab.

  2. Create or edit a rule and choose Email as the Rule Action.

  3. Configure the rule to send emails to your Asana Email Tasks address (see link below).

Asana allows each project or workspace to generate a unique email address that automatically creates tasks when emails are received. Follow Asana’s guide below to generate the correct email address and ensure tasks are routed to the right project or section:

Once configured, any cleaning or maintenance issues flagged by Chirp AI will be sent to Asana as tasks, helping your team stay organized and respond faster.
