Understanding Review Dates
Written By Chad McGuire (Sparrow Intel)
In Sparrow Intel, each review is dated based on the day the guest actually submitted the review. This is the same date shown on OTAs like Airbnb.
However, some OTAs - particularly Airbnb - do not publicly post the review immediately after a guest submits it. Instead, the review remains hidden until either:
a) the host submits a review for the guest, or
b) 14 days have passed since the guest submitted their review.
Example:
If a guest leaves a review on May 1, that review will show a date of May 1 in Sparrow Intel. However, if the host does not leave a review in return, Airbnb will not display the guest’s review publicly until May 15.
