How to Turn Off or Limit Feedback Requests (Including Mid-Stay Requests)
Written By Tobin Watkinson
Feedback Requests are messages that ask guests to rate their stay through a Sparrow feedback link (portal.sparrowintel.com/f/…). They’re sent automatically by Feedback Request rules.
Where to find them
Go to Feedback in the left-hand menu and open the Feedback Request Rules tab. Feedback Request rules don’t appear on the Rules page. Each rule sends at a set time relative to check-in or check-out, for example, 4 hours after check-in for a mid-stay request.
Why they don’t appear in Scheduled Messages
Feedback Requests are sent the moment the rule triggers, so they’re never queued and can’t be canceled for an individual guest ahead of time. (Scheduled Messages only shows messages from Send Message rule actions.)
Turn them off completely
On the Feedback Request Rules tab, turn off the rule. This stops that request for all of your listings.
Stop them for specific listings
Go to Property Groups and create a group containing every listing that should receive the request. Leave out the listings that shouldn’t.
Go to Feedback → Feedback Request Rules and open the rule.
Under Additional Conditions, click Add Condition, choose Property Group, and select your group, then save.
Remember to add new listings to the group, or they won’t receive the request.
Changing the wording is done in Message Templates. This changes the text only, not who receives it.
